Fans of Taylor Swift, known as Swifties, now have the opportunity to bring their love for the American pop star aboard a cruise vacation specifically designed for them.
The four-night Bahamas cruise, known as the “In My Cruise Era” itinerary, is inspired by the Eras Tour. Departing from Miami on October 21, 2024, it will feature plenty of activities and experiences centered around the popular songs “Shake It Off” and “Look What You Made Me Do” by the hit artist.
Cabins are available from $1,573 (£1,269) based on two sharing, and would-be passengers can join the waiting list.
The website states that the cruise is intended to commemorate everything related to Taylor, meet new people, dress up in our preferred time periods, exchange friendship bracelets, and take advantage of all the fantastic activities on board the ship.
The statement reads, “All fans are welcome, so bring your friends, parents, and little fans.”
Happening on board the Allure of the Seas, the excursion involves organizers collaborating with Royal Caribbean to plan Taylor events every evening. The specific details have not been finalized yet.
Passengers can look forward to karaoke, quizzes, a cocktail party, and dance events with a Taylor Swift theme. Each night will feature a different era of the artist’s career as the outfit theme.
On the second day of the voyage, the boat will arrive at Coco Cay, which is a privately owned island by Royal Caribbean. On the third day, there will be a visit to Nassau, the capital city of the Bahamas.
The day after Swift’s last performance in Miami, fans can either extend their excitement or find solace if they were unable to secure tickets for her on-shore concerts.
Unfortunately, Taylor will not be appearing on deck for this holiday as it is not associated with the popular singer. The themed cruise is organized by Jessica Malerman, Nicole Rivera, and Shelby Reyes, who are travel agents at Marvelous Mouse Travels and also describe themselves as Royal Caribbean experts and fans of Taylor.
This marks the singer’s second time serving as inspiration for a tourism service. In May, Circle Cruise Line launched a Taylor Swift dance cruise along the Hudson River in anticipation of her concerts in New Jersey.
Famous television shows have also sparked the creation of vacation packages, such as the transformation of Emily in Paris into an actual trip to the French capital in partnership with Netflix.
The exciting journey of the overused protagonist, portrayed by British-American actress Lily Collins, can be experienced through an immersive trip with Dharma, a start-up that offers to honor the cultural treasures of Paris for inquisitive individuals.
The cost for a four-night holiday for a group of eight to 16 people is £2,155 per person, not including flights.
