Ange Postecoglou was pleased Tottenham Hotspur regained their composure to storm back to earn a crucial 3-2 home win over Brentford but told both sets of players to enter the UFC ring if they want to focus on grappling over goals.
The first half was slow for the Spurs, and they were behind due to Neal Maupay’s goal in the 15th minute. During his celebration, Maupay imitated James Maddison’s darts move, sparking a heated match between the London rivals.
When asked if Maupay’s dart celebration had energized his team, Postecoglou responded, “I hope not because that’s precisely what I’m trying to avoid.”
