Trump congratulates DeSantis and Haley for having ‘good time together’ after Iowa caucus

Donald Trump, the leading candidate for the Republican nomination for president, has launched a new attack against opponent Nikki Haley in preparation for the upcoming New Hampshire primary.

Referring to her as “Nimbra”, an apparently deliberate misspelling of her given name “Nimarata” to draw attention to her Indian heritage, Mr Trump wrote on Truth Social that she “doesn’t have what it takes”.

He remarked that she lacks strength and ability when it comes to dealing with China, Russia, borders, and crime. However, she has shown a tendency to support all wars.

Following a CNN town hall on Thursday, Ms Haley made a statement regarding the possibility of Mr Trump and Joe Biden facing off in another election in November. She questioned if having two 80-year-olds running for president is the best choice for a country in turmoil and a chaotic world. Ms Haley pointed out their preoccupation with personal investigations and grievances as potential distractions from addressing important issues.

The upcoming primary in New Hampshire on Tuesday is a crucial moment for both Ms Haley and Florida governor Ron DeSantis. This comes after their underwhelming performance in the Iowa caucuses on Monday.

Both individuals are being urged to withdraw from the race and publicly support Mr. Trump. This pressure is expected to intensify unless they are able to garner support in New Hampshire.

In the final weekend of campaigning, Trump is leading in the NH polls over Haley and DeSantis.

With only four days remaining until voting commences, the latest poll results from Friday indicate that the previous president has a 52 percent lead, which is a 2-point increase from Wednesday’s poll. The former UN Ambassador, Haley, has gained 35 percent of likely voters, which is a 1-point increase. Meanwhile, the Florida Governor, DeSantis, is significantly behind with only six percent of support.

Donald Trump is set to travel from Florida to participate in campaigning activities over the weekend. There are reports that he will receive an endorsement from Senator Tim Scott of South Carolina, which is the home state of Ms. Haley.

DeSantis has faced criticism for spreading false information about Covid.

Haley retaliates against ‘insecure’ Trump prior to their upcoming confrontation in New Hampshire.

The previous governor of South Carolina stated that President Trump’s personal criticisms indicate a sense of being “intimidated” and “unstable” as they approach the 2024 Republican presidential race in the state.

Haley reaffirms her controversial assertion that the US has never been a racist country.

During the same broadcast, she attempted to justify her unusual belief that the US has never been a racist nation.

Martha McHardy wrote about the candidate’s self-contradictory statements in her report.

Tim Scott supports Trump.

Senator Tim Scott, who previously vied against Donald Trump in the 2024 Republican presidential race, will publicly support the former president’s campaign to reclaim the presidency at a rally in New Hampshire on Friday night.

According to The New York Times, the senator from South Carolina will be making a trip to Florida today to join Mr. Trump for a weekend of campaign events in New Hampshire before the primary on Tuesday.

Senator Scott is the highest-ranking elected Black Republican and his endorsement of the former president will reignite speculation that he could be a contender to be Mr Trump’s running mate, should he win the party’s nomination.

According to a source familiar with his thoughts, Mr. Scott has decided to end his campaign on November 12 and believes that the former president is the strongest candidate to defeat President Joe Biden in the upcoming November election, as reported by The Times.

When Mr Trump and the senator were competing for the party’s nomination, he seemed to refrain from criticizing him.

The choice made by the senator representing South Carolina could have negative implications for Nikki Haley. During her time as governor of South Carolina, she selected Mr Scott to serve in the Senate in 2012.

Haley criticizes the possibility of a Trump-Biden rematch, citing the current state of our country and the chaotic state of the world.

This could be the reason behind Trump’s harsh remarks towards Haley today.

During her appearance on a CNN town hall last night, the candidate criticized both her Republican opponent and the president for their age.

Haley criticizes Trump for being untruthful too often.

Haley responded to Trump’s comments on X by addressing his previous tirade. She chose to disregard the ex-president’s discriminatory mention of her Indian background, which was a reference to a baseless “birther” conspiracy theory that suggests she was not born in the US.

The previous United Nations Ambassador and former governor of South Carolina stated: “We must move on from Trump for another reason: there are too many falsehoods.”

“Individuals registered as Democrats are not eligible to vote in the NH primary. They have not had the opportunity to update their registration for several months.”

The individual went on to say, “I was more strict with China and Russia than Trump ever was. He commended Xi on multiple occasions after China caused the spread of Covid worldwide.”

I implemented the most stringent law on illegal immigration while serving as governor. My efforts in safeguarding the people of South Carolina far outweighed his actions in protecting all Americans.

“However, I am aware that this is the reason why he refuses to engage in a debate with me. Wishing you a wonderful day!”

President Trump insults Ambassador Haley’s character by using a racist nickname and falsely accuses her of being overly supportive of war.

Before departing for New Hampshire this morning, Trump criticized the state’s governor Chris Sununu on Truth Social. He also attacked Nikki Haley in a surprisingly aggressive manner, despite claiming to have a clear lead over her as an opponent.

The Orange One, on Truth Social, referred to her as “Nimbra” instead of her given name “Nimarata”, potentially to highlight her Indian background, and stated that she lacks the necessary qualities.

He mentioned that she lacks expertise in dealing with China, Russia, border control, and crime, but she always has a pro-war stance.

Haley’s supporters in New Hampshire sang “Happy Birthday” to her one day before her actual birthday.

This morning, the candidate was out and about in Newfields, New Hampshire and was pleasantly surprised with birthday greetings, even though her birthday is actually tomorrow.

However, the idea was present.

“Wishing you a very happy unbirthday!”

“Who me?”

“Yes you!”

Possible running mates for Trump include Sanders, Gabbard, and Carlson.

The conservative media seems to have concluded after Iowa that Trump has secured the Republican nomination and is now focusing on who could potentially be his running mate.

On Fox, Laura Ingraham assessed the contenders and advocated for Arkansas governor and former White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders, as well as former Democratic presidential candidate Tulsi Gabbard, among other potential candidates.

The president’s son, Don Jr, has indicated that former Fox anchor Tucker Carlson is definitely a potential candidate.

Gustaf Kilander has more on that odious prospect.
