The latest updates: Trump expresses anger towards lawyer over E Jean Carroll case.

Donald Trump asserts that there was absolutely no fraudulent activity during the New York trial.

Donald Trump has attributed his loss in a civil sexual assault trial brought by E Jean Carroll earlier this year to receiving poor legal counsel.

Donald Trump was instructed to give $5 million to a former Elle columnist for their relationship column. This was after he was held responsible for sexually assaulting her in the 1990s and then damaging her reputation when she spoke out about it.

Donald Trump did not attend the New York trial in May and has stated that his decision not to testify was because of his lawyers.

“I received a request from my lawyer to not attend- ‘It was below my dignity, and they have no legitimate argument.’ This was not sound advice,” he angrily expressed on Truth Social.

President Trump criticized Reid Hoffman, the founder of LinkedIn, who provided financial support for E. Jean Carroll’s lawsuit and recently contributed $250,000 to Nikki Haley, his opponent in the Republican primary.

On Thursday, Mr Trump returned to court for the Trump Organization’s civil fraud trial as the defense’s testimony draws to a close. Despite being under a gag order, Mr Trump is scheduled to testify again on Monday.

During a more relaxed moment, the ex-president took a break to chat with the sketch artists in the courtroom. As he looked over their drawings, he mentioned that he should work on losing some weight.

Megyn Kelly states that Trump’s mistakes were not done on purpose and she has no doubt that he has become less sharp.

After rejoining as a moderator on December 6, Megyn Kelly spoke with Glenn Beck on his show to discuss the fourth Republican debate and the current status of the GOP candidates.

Kelly commended Florida Governor Ron DeSantis for his impressive performance in the debate, stating that it was his best yet. However, she expressed disappointment in Nikki Haley’s performance, noting that she seemed to shrink away. When discussing the polarizing figures of Vivek Ramaswamy and Chris Christie, Kelly shared her opinions. Lastly, she was questioned about Donald Trump.

Can you confirm if the ex-president, who is currently leading the race to become the Republican Party’s nominee for 2024, has lost popularity since 2020?

The court of appeals affirms Trump’s restriction order in the case of election conspiracy.

In October, US District Judge Tanya Chutkan issued a gag order preventing the former president from engaging in a “pretrial smear campaign” as he pursues the 2024 Republican nomination for president.

On Friday, judges in the Federal Court of Appeals in Washington DC stated that certain statements made by Mr. Trump could potentially disrupt the fair handling of an ongoing criminal case, and therefore a protective order restricting his speech is necessary. However, they also noted that the initial order included more protected speech than was needed.

The lawyers representing Mr. Trump claimed that the order violates his constitutional right to express his political views while he is campaigning for president and also facing numerous lawsuits and four criminal charges, two of which involve his alleged efforts to illegally challenge the outcome of the 2020 presidential election.

The prosecutors aim to utilize Trump’s support for the rioters during his DC trial.

Federal prosecutors have announced their intention to present proof of former president Donald Trump’s endorsement and backing of the charged and convicted individuals involved in the January 6 riot. This is to showcase his intentions during the event when a disorderly group of his followers breached the US Capitol in an attempt to hinder the certification of his defeat in the 2020 election.

The prosecution team, led by special counsel Jack Smith, stated in a legal filing on Tuesday that they plan to include evidence from both before and after the alleged criminal conspiracy involving the former president. They emphasized that this evidence is permissible under rules that allow the government to use it to demonstrate the ex-president’s motive, intent, preparation, knowledge, lack of error, and shared plan.

The prosecutors plan to present evidence from before the alleged conspiracy to show that Mr. Trump supported violence, citing his well-known statement to the extremist group, the Proud Boys, during the September 29, 2020 debate with now-President Joe Biden.

If Trump had not been a candidate, Biden is uncertain if he would choose to run again.

On Tuesday, President Joe Biden informed a gathering of Democratic supporters that if former President Donald Trump was not running for re-election next year, he may not have chosen to run again at the age of 81.

Mr Biden, the oldest person to ever serve as America’s chief executive, is looking to be elected to serve another four-year term in the White House, which would end when he is 86 years old. He announced his candidacy for re-election in April, approximately six months after Mr Trump launched his campaign for the Republican Party’s 2024 presidential nomination against the man he lost to three years ago.

Some Democrats have suggested that the 46th president’s older age may hinder his ability to compete against a younger and more energetic candidate, leading to calls for him to step aside in favor of someone who could potentially defeat Mr. Trump with ease.

During a speech at a fundraiser near Boston on Tuesday, former Vice President Biden stated that President Trump’s continued presence in politics is the reason why he is not relinquishing his position to a younger generation.

He stated that if Trump was not participating, he may not have run. However, we must ensure that he does not win.

Evaluation: The popularity of Nikki Haley is increasing. However, can she reach the level of success as Trump?

Nikki Haley has achieved many notable accomplishments, such as being the first Asian American woman to hold the position of governor in US history, the first Indian American to be part of a presidential Cabinet, and the first woman of color to run for the GOP nomination. However, the question remains: could she potentially be the first woman to become president of the United States?

Few think so.

Donald Trump’s feud with Ron DeSantis throughout history.

Despite being initially seen as a strong contender for the Republican nomination, Florida governor Ron DeSantis’ campaign has faced numerous setbacks and disappointments, failing to live up to expectations as the main challenger for former president Donald Trump.

Despite months of escalating tension, Mr DeSantis appears to have not been able to confront Mr Trump effectively.

However, there was a period when the two got along very well.

In 2018, while serving as President, Mr. Trump enthusiastically supported Mr. DeSantis’s campaign for governor by endorsing him and participating in rallies to promote him.

However, as Mr. DeSantis climbed the ladder and became seen as a possible candidate for the 2024 election, Mr. Trump’s attitude shifted.

The former president has repeatedly hurled insults and sharp nicknames, many of which Mr. DeSantis wisely chose not to respond to publicly. However, in recent months he has started to respond with comebacks.
