Four individuals on bicycles were penalized for riding through a red traffic signal in Surrey over the past weekend, as captured on video.

After the occurrence in Esher, every individual was charged a fine of £50. This took place in the presence of a police car that was not marked on Saturday, January 13th.

The Surrey Police captured the event on a dashboard camera and posted the footage on social media.

The cyclists’ actions gained widespread attention and the video has been watched more than 1.5 million times since it was shared on X.

According to a spokesperson, the group was cautioned that they were at risk of a collision and potential injury.
