According to Shomrim, on Thursday, December 7th, a Jewish woman was physically attacked on a road in north London, resulting in her falling to the ground. The incident has been described as a “vicious assault.”

The incident occurred on Rostrevor Avenue in Haringey during the start of Hanukkah, a significant holiday in the Jewish religion that celebrates light.

According to Shomrim, the victim was brutally attacked and then forcefully pulled to the ground. CCTV footage reveals that the attackers continuously struck her in the head.

The Metropolitan Police said it is appealing for information after a 20-year-old victim was approached by two females who assaulted her before stealing her bag and running off towards the A10.

The injured person experienced bruising but did not need to go to the hospital for treatment.
