The Metropolitan Police stated in their most recent update that the woman’s condition is still very critical, but stable. She has sustained severe facial injuries that are expected to have a long-term impact on her life.

It is possible that she could potentially lose vision in her right eye. Detectives have stated that they are uncertain about the reason for the assault.
