A video captures the instance when a hurt hiker was rescued by a helicopter from the California Highway Patrol.
A woman who had been injured was found at Skyline Wilderness Park in Napa County, following reports of her condition being received by local emergency services.
Using exact GPS coordinates provided by dispatch, the H-30 team from the Golden Gate Division Air Operations were able to quickly locate the hiker.
Prior to being transported by helicopter to safety, a flight officer and paramedic were lowered to the ground to administer medical aid.
The hiker sustained minor injuries and was subsequently taken to a nearby hospital for medical attention.
