A large blaze ignited at a church in Rotterdam, Netherlands, causing the roof of the building to collapse.
On the evening of December 6th, the Bethelkerk church located in the Overschie neighborhood caught fire.
Many residents living near the church were forced to evacuate during the fire, but have now been able to go back to their homes.
According to local news sources, emergency responders including firefighters and paramedics arrived at approximately 10:53 pm.
A man, 36, was allegedly taken into custody for the fire after surrendering himself on Thursday morning. However, the reason for the fire remains undisclosed.
