Travis Kelce has made his appearance in Las Vegas for the Super Bowl wearing a dazzling, sparkling ensemble.
On Sunday 11 February, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end arrived for the big game in an all-black outfit covered in sparkles, complete with a matching black bag, before his team goes on to compete against the San Francisco 49ers.
His girlfriend, Taylor Swift, who has won a Grammy, recently joined him at the Super Bowl after completing a series of performances in Tokyo, Japan.
Fans were quick to react to the tight end’s fashion decision on X, formerly known as Twitter, with many thinking it was a reference to one of Swift’s songs from her Midnights album, “Bejeweled.”
One person commented, jokingly saying that wearing glitter makes them feel like they are playing Bejeweled.
Another X user commented, referring to Swift’s Reputation album, which features an all-black aesthetic, during her REP era.
Some other individuals speculated that Swift had chosen this ensemble and was only wearing it for that purpose.
“Did someone else lend it to Taylor?” a commenter inquired.
A different user named X also concurred, stating: “He’s now dressing like a fan of Swift.”
This is Swift’s 13th appearance at a football game this season, despite concerns from fans that her Eras Tour performances overseas would prevent her from attending. However, the Embassy of Japan released a statement to reassure fans that she will be present.
