Taylor Swift has made an entrance at the Super Bowl wearing an ensemble that honors her boyfriend, Travis Kelce.
The singer, along with Ice Spice, Blake Lively, and her mother Andrea Swift, arrived at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on Sunday, February 11th. This was after a long flight from Tokyo, Japan, where she had been performing her Eras Tour for the past few nights.
During the highly anticipated game between the Kansas City Chiefs and the San Francisco 49ers, Swift sported a pair of black jeans, a black bustier top, her iconic red lipstick, and a red jacket draped over her shoulder, as a nod to the Chiefs’ red team colors.
Nevertheless, it was the accessories she chose to wear that held a more significant significance. Taylor Swift donned a necklace adorned with the number “87” as a tribute to Kelce’s jersey number.
Swift has shown her appreciation for Kelce multiple times this football season by wearing jewelry featuring his number while supporting him at various games. Just recently, she donned a ring with a small red football jersey bearing Kelce’s number for the AFC Championship Game.
The singer has honored the athlete by incorporating his number and last name into her fashion choices. During a recent Chiefs game, she wore a puffer jacket created by Kristin Juszczyk, the wife of San Francisco 49ers fullback Kyle Juszczyk, who will also be competing in this year’s Super Bowl.
The Super Bowl can be viewed on CBS, Fubo, Paramount+, YouTube, and YouTube TV. The game will begin at 6:30pm Eastern Time.
