Keir Starmer, the esteemed Sir, is of the opinion that Nike should issue a recall for the England team’s official Euro 2024 outfit.
The leader of the Labour party heavily criticized the Football Association and their clothing brand for altering the symbolic St. George’s flag on the team’s jerseys and overcharging supporters.
“I am a huge enthusiast of football and attend both men’s and women’s England games. The flag is a unifying symbol for all fans,” stated Sir Keir during his appearance on the first episode of The Sun’s political series, Never Mind the Ballots.
“We should not change something that unifies us. Instead, we should take pride in it. I believe they should reconsider and revert back to the previous version.”
