Scott McTominay off to Italy?
Scott McTominay has been linked with multiple possible moves away from Old Trafford.
Napoli are the latest to be linked with the forward, but they might want to sell Victor Osimhen, and the Italian club are also trying to sign Romelu Lukaku from Chelsea.
Aston Villa linked with Atletico striker
According to the Daily Mail, Aston Villa have been offered the chance to sign Samu Omorodion from Atletico Madrid.
Omorodion had been close to a £34.5m move to Chelsea earlier this summer, but is an option for Villa, if they can sell Jhon Duran before the transfer deadline.
Atletico Madrid are reportedly still interested in selling their forward.
Kieran Trippier latest
One of the more surprising transfer stories that emerged yesterday was that Kieran Trippier wants to leave Newcastle this summer.
The 33-year-old has been a key figure since Eddie Howe took charge of the club, but was an unused substitute against Southampton last weekend.
Trippier has two years left on his contract, but Newcastle have previously rejected an offer from Bayern Munich for the defender.
He is reportedly considering a move to Everton.
Noni Madueke could leave Chelsea
Noni Madueke was not part of Chelsea’s 2-0 defeat to Manchester City in the Premier League, but did come off the bench to score in the Europa Conference League on Thursday night.
Newcastle are considering a loan move for the winger, according to The Mirror.
Brentford sign Liverpool youngster
Brentford have signed Liverpool’s Sepp van den Berg for a deal worth up to £25m.
The 22-year-old spent last season on loan at Mainz, and made 33 appearances in the Bundesliga.
He has joined on a five-year contract, and Liverpool retain a 17.5% sell-on clause.
Raheem Sterling possible move
Raheem Sterling has been linked with a possible move to Aston Villa, according to The Guardian.
Chelsea have made it very clear that the England international is not in Enzo Maresca’s plans for the squad, and he has not been included in the two matchday squads this season, and his number has been given to new signing Pedro Neto.
Unai Emery is hoping to add another attacker to his squad, but Sterling’s wages could prove a problem. He is reportedly on £325,000 a week with three years left on a deal.
Villa might be willing to consider a loan deal, but the wages again might cause an obstacle.
Liverpool interested in Branthwaite
Liverpool want to nab Jarrad Branthwaite from local rivals Everton, according to The Sun.
The reported deal could be up to £70m to secure the services of the highly-rated 22-year-old, who has already been a target for Manchester United this summer.
Crystal Palace latest
Not quite a player transfer, but Sky Sports are reporting that part-owner John Textor wants to sell his 45 per cent stake in the club, with the intention of looking at a possible takeover of Everton.
Textor reportedly visited Everton’s training ground on Wednesday.
A statement read: “We can confirm that we are interested in selling our interest in Crystal Palace, largely so that we can pursue a relationship with the Everton club and community.”
Ipswich sign Jack Clarke
Newly-promoted Ipswich have added to their ranks with the signing of Sunderland’s Jack Clarke.
The initial deal is reportedly worth £15m with a further add-ons that could take the total to £20m.
Clarke is expected to have his medical at Portman Road later today.
