Bernardo Silva clinches FA Cup match and presents strong argument for being Manchester City’s most valuable player.
In 2011, Manchester City won their first major tournament in 35 years with the FA Cup. Fast forward to the present, they are potentially on track to win their third trophy in just a matter of weeks for the second year in a row.
Newcastle prevented City from achieving a quadruple by eliminating them from the Carabao Cup nearly six months ago. Despite this setback, City still has a chance at a double treble. They have secured their spot in the FA Cup semi-finals for the sixth consecutive year, setting a new record.
Nevertheless, even though Newcastle was able to secure a win in the fall season, it serves as evidence of the exceptional skilled players in the City’s midfield.

The team known as the Sky Blues emerged victorious in the highly regarded tournament that year, with one of the most memorable championship matches to date. Additionally, their chances of achieving another unexpected victory this season remained alive after an extraordinary conclusion at Molineux.
It appeared as though they were going to depart with shattered emotions when goals within the last 10 minutes by Rayan Ait-Nouri and Hugo Bueno reversed Ellis Simms’s initial goal and appeared to secure a Wembley match for Wolves.
