On Wednesday evening, Liverpool will be hosting Luton Town. Jurgen Klopp’s team had a close call with Manchester City, who were only one point behind them the previous night. However, the Reds are determined to stay focused on their own progress, having secured two wins after a disappointing loss to Arsenal.
Unfortunately, Luton has fallen back into the bottom three of the Premier League without even playing a match since the weekend. This is due to Everton’s draw on Monday night, which pushed the Hatters down one spot based on goal difference. However, if Luton can secure a win or draw against the hosts at Anfield tonight, they will climb back out of the relegation zone. In their previous encounter at Kenilworth Road this season, these two teams ended with a 1-1 draw.
