Former England manager Sven-Goran Eriksson received heartfelt messages from English legends after disclosing his cancer diagnosis.
The 76-year-old experienced coach of a football team announced in January that he was given a prognosis of having only one year to live due to a terminal case of pancreatic cancer.
Eriksson was interviewed by Channel 4 at his residence in Sweden and was presented with video messages from some of his previous players.
Joe Cole, Steven Gerrard, Paul Scholes, and Michael Owen all sent him well wishes.
“Amazing,” a moved Eriksson replied, expressing gratitude to commentator Steve Bower for sharing the videos.
