Tottenham has the opportunity to extend their lead to five points in the Premier League standings by facing Crystal Palace in a London derby on Friday evening.
Spurs continued their best start to a league campaign since 1960-61 with Monday night’s 2-0 victory over Fulham, as goals from Son Heung-min and James Maddison saw Ange Postecoglou’s side return to the top of the standings.
Postecoglou’s win resulted in him achieving a Premier League record of 23 points in his first nine games as manager. However, he expressed disappointment with Tottenham’s performance in the second half.
Tottenham will aim to continue their impressive performance as they travel to Selhurst Park to play against Crystal Palace. The latter suffered a 4-0 defeat at the hands of Newcastle in their previous game.
