Mikel Arteta admitted Arsenal need a psychological “reset” after they could not capitalise on chances in their 2-0 FA Cup third-round loss to Liverpool at the Emirates.
In the first half, the Gunners were in control, but after 80 minutes, Jakub Kiwior accidentally scored a goal for the opposing team. Then, in the second half during added time, Luis Diaz scored a skillful goal, securing a win for Jurgen Klopp’s team.
Arteta’s team has only one victory in their last seven games in all competitions. The manager acknowledged that their lack of scoring could lead to a decline in morale.
