The agency reported that Navalny fell ill after going for a walk on Friday and passed out. An ambulance arrived, but despite efforts to revive him, he unfortunately passed away.
Cameron stated that Putin should be responsible for Navalny’s death and face consequences.
The British minister of foreign affairs stated that the Russian leader should face “consequences” for his actions. Navalny, who was imprisoned, was one of the most vocal and consistent critics of the president.
Lord Cameron stated that we must hold Putin responsible for this and there should be no uncertainty about the terrible nature of Putin’s government in Russia following recent events.
On Friday, there were other vigils and protests taking place throughout Europe.
