Donald Trump sat for an hour-long, town hall with Fox News’ Sean Hannity on Wednesday, bashing Democratic rival Kamala Harris at every turn, less than a week before they go face-to-face at a debate.
Trump slammed Harris’s record at the border, and promised the “largest deportation” in US history if he is elected. He also took aim at her economic policy, warning that the country would wind up in a “1929-style depression” if she wins in November.
Trump also boasted about members of Democratic vice presidential candidate Tim Walz’s extended family sharing a photo wearing T-shirts in support of Trump.
The town hall was held in the battleground state of Pennsylvania — one of a few states both campaigns are laser-focused on winning.
A CNN poll found Harris leading in Wisconsin, Michigan, Georgia and Nevada, while Trump leads in Arizona, and the two are tied in Pennsylvania.
Earlier in the day, at a campaign stop in North Hampton, New Hampshire, Harris unveiled more of her economic agenda — promising a tax relief for small businesses. The vice president argued that setting a “billionaire minimum tax” would make the tax code more fair to small businesses by making larger corporations pay a “fair share.”
Navarro demands Fox News stop using Harris’s first name because it ‘personalizes her’
Donald Trump’s former adviser has urged Fox News pundits to “cut the Kamala c**p” and stop referring to the vice president by her first name because it “personalizes her.”
Peter Navarro, a former trade adviser to Trump when he was in office, went on a three-minute rant about “Kamala” while appearing on Steve Bannon’s War Room on Tuesday.

Trump lays in on ABC News days before his debate against Harris
The former president then assailed ABC News, which will host the debate in six days between Trump and Kamala Harris.
“The most dishonest network. The meanest, the nastiest. But that’s what I was presented with,” Trump said.
He accused the network of giving the “softest” interview to President Biden after he left the race.
Trump warned of a ‘1929-style depression’ if Harris is elected
About 45 mintues into the town hall, Trump discussed Harris’ economic policies.
“I gave you the biggest tax cuts in the history of our country,” he claimed, warning what he believed would happen if Harris reversed his tax cuts.
“This country will end up in a depression if she becomes president, like 1929. She has no idea what the hell she’s doing,” he said.
Trump then took a jab at Harris’ father, Donald Harris, calling the Stanford professor a “Marxist teacher of economics”
Trump offers gloomy world view during town hall
“She wants to be politically correct,” Trump said about Harris. “We can’t be politically correct anymore.”
He once again claimed that “October 7 would have never happened” if he had been the commander in chief at the time. “The whole world was a safe place” when he was president, he added.
“The world is blowing up. And when you look at Ukraine and you look at Russia, we are potentially getting ready…we’re heading into World War III territory,” Trump continued.
Mosquito interrupts Trump’s town hall
In the middle of groaning about President Joe Biden’s exit from the 2024 race, Trump got distracted — by a mosquito.

Trump clarifies he wants to win New Hampshire after a leaked email suggested his campaign is “pulling back” from the state
The former president tried to reclaim his campaign’s focus on New Hampshire.
”We really wanna win New Hampshire,” Trump said.
His comment comes one day after an email was leaked suggesting that the Trump campaign doesn’t believe the state is “winnable.”

Trump offers familiar claims about the border
“We did great in 2016. We did much better in 2020, we got millions of more votes. But there has never been enthusiasm like we have now,” Trump said after the audience burst out into a “USA!” chant.
The former president almost instantly turned to the border, an area for which he typically criticizes the Biden-Harris administration. Trump repeated familiar claims about migrants, alleging that they are coming into the country from prisons, mental institutions, and “very bad places.” He added that they are “destroying our country.”
“We have to do the largest deportation” in the history of the US, he added.
Trump appears on Fox News town hall

The crowd cheered and applauded as Trump walked in. The former president often stopping to glance up at the crowd and join in with claps of his own.
