More than 100 individuals, including Prince Andrew and Bill Clinton, have been identified in recently released legal documents connected to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
The initial release of legal documents reveals the identities of individuals who were victimized or associated with the perpetrator of sexual crimes and Ghislaine Maxwell – although some may not have a direct connection to Epstein.
The wealthy investor, who associated with members of royalty and famous individuals, was charged with orchestrating a significant operation involving young girls for sexual purposes. He committed suicide in his prison cell in 2019 while awaiting trial.
The court papers pertain to a 2015 case where Maxwell was sued for defamation, and were made public on Wednesday in accordance with a judge’s ruling.
The release of additional documents on Thursday evening did not reveal much new information about the case. Many of the names mentioned had already been made public.
The presence of names does not imply any wrongdoing connected to Epstein or anyone else. The list consists of numerous individuals who have accused or alleged to be victims of Epstein.
The legal documents mention a previous allegation against Prince Andrew, in which he denies groping Johanna Sjoberg. Both former US presidents Bill Clinton and Donald Trump are also listed, but neither are accused of any misconduct. However, judges, court staff, and legal representatives are not mentioned.
In 2019, Jeffrey Epstein committed suicide.
