Billionaire Charles Koch’s Republican donor network, which typically stays neutral, is now supporting Nikki Haley for the 2024 Republican nomination. This endorsement is a significant boost for her campaign as she competes against Florida Governor Ron DeSantis for second place.
On Monday, Americans for Prosperity Action declared their endorsement for Ms Haley’s campaign, which was likely a significant letdown for Mr DeSantis. He was once seen as Donald Trump’s primary opponent for the GOP nomination, but has faced setbacks in his quest for the presidency due to Ms Haley’s surge in popularity.
“Our organization stated that we would be holding our first Republican presidential primary, with the goal of finding a candidate who could bring an end to our political dysfunction and ultimately succeed. After careful consideration, we have determined that Nikki Haley is the ideal candidate for this role,” stated CEO Emily Siedel. “We cannot continue to rely on past politicians to solve current issues. Nikki Haley represents a fresh generation of leadership and presents a optimistic and ambitious outlook for our future. AFP Action is honored to endorse her and will support her in her campaign to become the next President of the United States.”
The organization also emphasized that this was not simply a show of support for Ms. Haley, but rather a rejection of both leading candidates for their parties’ nominations, Donald Trump and Joe Biden. A statement on their website encouraged voters to move on from these politicians.

On the other hand, Joe Biden’s leadership has been disastrous and the American people are suffering due to his unsuccessful strategies. Both Donald Trump and Joe Biden have had their opportunity to make a difference, but they are unable to repair what is currently in shambles.
Ms Haley, who has seen an increase in her popularity due to her strong debate skills, expressed her excitement about the announcement.
She expressed gratitude for the backing of Americans for Prosperity Action, which includes numerous grassroots members throughout the nation. She added that the organization’s members recognize the significance of this election and will not be passive observers. They understand that this is a decision between freedom and socialism, personal freedom and a large government, financial responsibility and increasing debt.
