People have been speculating and spreading rumors about Vladimir Putin’s health for many years – suggesting that he is dealing with various health issues.
According to the latest updates, he is currently experiencing Parkinson’s disease, had a heart attack, and has been fighting multiple types of cancer.
The Kremlin has consistently denied allegations of Putin’s illness and sarcastically dismissed speculation about the use of body doubles for his rest.
The septuagenarian has consistently made efforts to demonstrate his strength and endurance to the citizens of Russia through images of him practicing judo or engaging in hunting and horseback riding in rural areas – often without a shirt.
There is a high probability that he will start his fifth term as president very soon, and he may once more encounter inquiries regarding his wellbeing.
The Independent has collected a few of the assertions…
Parkinson’s disease
According to Sir Richard Dearlove, the ex-chief of Britain’s intelligence agency M16, Putin has a fundamental issue and his health is declining.
When questioned on LBC regarding Putin’s well-being, Sir Richard stated that he does not have a definite answer but maintains connections and acquaintances in Eastern Europe who believe there may be a serious health issue with him. However, he clarifies that he is not a medical expert.
Adding onto the potential sickness of Putin, he stated: “It is likely Parkinson’s, which can manifest in various ways and severity levels.”
However, if the individual displays extreme suspicion, and in my opinion, the assassination of Navalny may indicate such extreme suspicion, that is considered a symptom.
The speculation surrounding his potential diagnosis of motor neurone disease has been reinforced by his recent public appearances, in which he appeared to be fragile and tense.
During a meeting that was recorded, Russian defense minister Sergei Shoigu and Putin were seen in a sit-down meeting where Putin held onto his table tightly for the entire 12 minutes. He did not let go during the entire clip.
During a separate meeting with his ally Alexander Lukashenko of Belarus, the leader displayed signs of hand and leg tremors and occasionally clenched his fist against his body.
According to a former member of the FSB, Putin has a limited time left to live, estimating it to be around two to three years, due to his advanced and rapidly spreading cancer.
According to the Russian officer speaking to the Sunday Mirror, he has informed us that the individual is experiencing severe headaches and must rely on large lettered papers to read his statements when making appearances on television.
“The pages are quite large, allowing only a few sentences to fit on each. His vision is significantly deteriorating.”
A former billionaire made a comment similar to this claiming that he had recorded a conversation with a venture capitalist about Putin’s wellbeing.
The recording, obtained by New Lines, a US magazine, features an unnamed person claiming that Putin underwent surgery right before Russia’s invasion of Ukraine and also stating that the president has become irrational.
Based on findings from Russian investigative news source Proekt, Putin has embarked on multiple journeys accompanied by both a cancer expert and two ear, nose, and throat specialists.
The newspaper reported that he frequently visits the resort town of Sochi with doctors from Moscow’s Central Clinical Hospital.
There is speculation that Putin has possibly undergone a complex medical procedure for a thyroid disorder or cancer.
Brain tumour
Professor Angus Dalgleish, an Oncology expert at St George’s, University of London, has stated that the recent changes in behavior displayed by Putin could indicate that he is suffering from a brain tumor.
The Mirror reported that he said, “When comparing his face from two or three years ago to now, there is a noticeable symmetry.”
“Considering his actions and behavioral changes, I can’t help but wonder if he may be dealing with a brain tumor causing cognitive issues.”
Cardiac arrest
One sensational allegation is that Putin has experienced numerous episodes of cardiac arrest.
According to a cryptic Telegram channel known as General SVR, which has a history of discussing Putin’s well-being, the Russian president was discovered in his bedroom by his guards. They reportedly found him lying on the floor and rolling his eyes.
According to reports, medical professionals quickly performed CPR and he was then transported to a private hospital within his residence in Moscow.
The Kremlin’s representative has consistently rejected the allegations about Putin’s well-being as “complete nonsense”.
