Authorities are currently pursuing additional suspects following a fatal knife assault that claimed the lives of two adolescents in Bristol.
Avon and Somerset Police reported that two boys, aged 15 and 16, were stabbed on Saturday at approximately 11:20pm on Ilminster Avenue in Knowle West.
A group of individuals executed the attack and escaped in a vehicle.
The police are conducting a murder investigation and are actively searching for additional suspects and witnesses who were on a bus during the killings.
A man, 44, and a boy, 15, have been apprehended and are currently being held. A vehicle has also been taken into possession.

The individuals were stabbed and transported to two medical facilities, Southmead Hospital and Bristol Royal Hospital for Children, via ambulance. They ultimately passed away in the early hours of Sunday morning.
The police stated that the boy’s relatives were present at the hospital, and the Major Crime Investigation Team is updating them on any new developments.
Neither of the boys have been identified yet and autopsies will be conducted at a later time.
Investigators are eager to converse with individuals riding on a bus that was traveling on Ilminster Avenue during the incident.
Mark Runacres, Commander Superintendent of Bristol, stated that there are additional suspects from the group believed to be responsible who are currently being pursued.
He reported that last night at approximately 11:20pm, there was an incident on Ilminster Avenue where two individuals were stabbed by a group of people. The first officer arrived quickly and administered first aid before the victims were transported to the hospital via ambulance. Unfortunately, both of them did not survive their wounds.
He stated that the police were eager to talk to anyone who was on the double-decker bus last night.
“This is an incredibly shocking and tragic incident where two young boys, who had their whole lives ahead of them, have sadly died.
We send our condolences to the families during this undoubtedly challenging time. Trained family liaison officers will be assigned to offer support and keep the families informed about the progress of the investigation.
We apologize for any inconvenience caused by the work being done within the cordon. While it may have disrupted some properties, we hope people understand the importance of this project.
According to Superintendent Runacres, investigations were being conducted door-to-door and several individuals who saw the incident have been recognized.
He also verified that surveillance camera and doorbell recordings were being collected and a portable police station was being established close to the location.
A representative from Ilminster Avenue Academy, located on the same street where the boys were tragically killed, announced that a psychiatrist will be available for students on Monday.
The school released a statement expressing their sorrow over the incidents that occurred on Ilminster Avenue last night.
Tomorrow morning, there will be assemblies where children will have the chance to discuss the events.
