Passenger footage captured the view of Iceland’s volcano eruption from a plane window.

A traveler aboard a flight passing over Iceland has captured video of the Grindavik volcano eruption from the air.

In the video, molten lava can be observed flowing down the volcano. The lava has now reached the town that was evacuated and has ignited multiple homes.

This marks the second occurrence within a month where a volcano has erupted in the vicinity. In November, residents were instructed to leave their homes for a span of six weeks due to the previous eruption.
