Countless automated machines in an Amazon fulfillment center are currently engaged in readying for the upcoming Black Friday shopping frenzy.
The small robots resembling Roombas are responsible for transporting pallets of goods around the Swindon warehouse alongside their human counterparts.
David Tindal, the General Manager of the warehouse, discussed the branch’s readiness for an upcoming busy season.
According to Tindal, Black Friday is an incredibly thrilling event. It marks the start of our busiest time of the year, which runs from Black Friday all the way through Christmas. We dedicated 10 months to preparing for this period.
