On Tuesday, Nikki Haley emerged as the winner in the Vermont GOP Presidential primary, achieving her second win over Donald Trump.
Her victory in Vermont marks the first time the former South Carolina governor has won a state primary during her campaign. Mr Trump, however, has already beaten Ms Haley in eleven state primaries this Super Tuesday.
The results for the Republican presidential primaries in Alaska, California, and Utah have not been announced as of the evening of Saturday.
Ms. Haley also emerged victorious in the Washington, DC GOP primary on Sunday, receiving 62.8 percent of the vote.
Last week, the ex-governor of South Carolina held multiple events in and near the DC beltway area while on the campaign trail. She also made a strong effort to campaign in neighboring Virginia, even though Mr. Trump ultimately won the presidential primary there on Tuesday.
It currently appears highly likely that Mr. Trump will once again be chosen as the Republican candidate, as he has already emerged victorious in the primaries held in Iowa, the US Virgin Islands, North Dakota, New Hampshire, Nevada, South Carolina, Michigan, Idaho, Missouri and Virginia.
