Biden and Trump engage in verbal attacks in Georgia before primary election: live coverage.

During the 2024 State of the Union address, Biden promises to reinstate the Roe v Wade decision.

On Saturday, President Joe Biden and former president Donald Trump held rallies in Georgia, where they both criticized each other. These rallies took place days before the state’s presidential primary.

After giving a passionate State of the Union speech, Mr. Biden addressed supporters in Atlanta and specifically responded to criticisms directed towards Mr. Trump.

The president expressed his belief that Mr. Trump truly desires to be a dictator while criticizing his recent hosting of Hungarian leader Viktor Orban at his golf club.

In Rome, Georgia, Mr. Trump appeared on stage alongside his loyal partner, Marjorie Taylor Greene. As expected, Mr. Trump attacked Mr. Biden, even going as far as making fun of his speech impediment.

In the upcoming November election, Georgia is predicted to be a highly contested state between the Democratic and Republican candidates. Joe Biden won the state with a narrow lead in the 2020 election, making him the first Democratic presidential nominee to do so since Bill Clinton in 1992.

The primary election in Georgia will take place on Tuesday.

“I will not allow it”: Biden refuses to make cuts to entitlements proposed by Trump.

Last week, Donald Trump falsely claimed in his “play by play” commentary of the State of the Union that “Republicans have no plan to cut Social Security, a made-up story by Crooked Joe!”

During his appearance on CNBC this morning, when asked about managing entitlement programs such as Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid, Mr. Trump suggested that there are various methods to reduce their cost and improve their management. He also expressed concern that failure to properly address these programs could result in weakening Social Security due to the state of the country.

A Kentucky legislator faces backlash after proposing that child sex dolls could potentially reduce instances of child abuse.

A state senator from Kentucky has faced backlash for suggesting that child sex dolls may be utilized by paedophiles as a means of decreasing incidents of child sexual abuse.

Karen Berg, a Democratic state senator, proposed at a senate judiciary committee meeting on February 29th that dolls marketed towards “MAPs” (those attracted to minors) could provide them with a form of relief.

According to Ms. Berg, there are individuals known as MAPs, or minor-attracted persons. Limited research on these dolls suggests that for those who are attracted to minors, having these dolls can lower their inclination to harm children.

She mentioned that it provides a sense of relief which decreases their chances of leaving their house.

After facing negative feedback, Ms. Berg issued a clarification statement on March 1st regarding her comments.

“I supported House Bill 207, which aims to ban child-sex dolls. This aligns with my dedication to protecting the welfare of our children and holding those responsible accountable,” she stated.

Senator Bob Menendez has entered a plea of not guilty to a new charge in his corruption case.

Senator Bob Menendez from New Jersey, along with his wife Nadine Menendez and two others who were accused with him in a corruption case, declared their plea of not guilty to a new charge of obstructing justice presented by federal prosecutors during an arraignment on Monday.

Recently, the government’s legal representatives issued an updated legal document against Mr. Menendez, Ms. Menendez, Mr. Hanna, and Mr. Daibes. The new indictment includes a total of 18 charges, a significant increase from the previous four charges, and comes just two months before the scheduled trial.

The new charges against the senator and others accuse them of obstruction of justice. They allegedly tried to repay a former co-defendant for bribes they took, once they found out they were being investigated.

Ms. Menendez’s former co-defendant, Jose Uribe, arrived later after agreeing to plead guilty to seven charges and assist with the government’s investigation. As stated in legal documents, Mr. Uribe informed both the prosecution and the presiding judge that he had provided false information to investigators and his own lawyer, allegedly at the request of Ms. Menendez.

Mr Uribe said he helped secure a Mercedez-Benz convertible for the Menendezes as a bribe in exchange for interfering with a criminal investigation connected to Mr Uribe’s trucking business. He claimed that upon being subpoenaed, he met with Ms Menendez and agreed to lie that payments made for the car were a “loan”.

Is there anything that can potentially hinder Trump and Biden’s second encounter?

Throughout the past year, a notable number of American commentators have indulged in various possibilities regarding the potential candidates for the upcoming US presidential election in November.

There is a persistent and well-supported group of activists, both in the political and legal spheres, who believe that the courts will rule that Donald Trump is not qualified to be president and prevent him from being listed on a general election ballot.

Numerous legal actions have been taken in states that primarily lean towards the Democratic party, with the intention of disqualifying Mr. Trump. These actions are based on his attempts to reverse the results of the 2020 election and his endorsement of the individuals who violently entered the US Capitol on January 6, 2021 in pursuit of this goal. This event took place on the day that Congress convened to confirm President Joe Biden’s victory over Mr. Trump.

Biden retracts statement regarding its legality.

During a recent interview, Joe Biden retracted his use of the word “illegal” when referring to an undocumented migrant. He also reaffirmed his stance that the Supreme Court made an incorrect decision in its 2022 ruling on abortion access.

During his speech, he faced criticism for referring to a undocumented migrant as “illegal.” He later expressed regret for using that term in an interview with MSNBC.

“The term ‘undocumented’ is more appropriate than ‘illegal,’ as stated by Mr. Biden in regards to an individual without official documentation status.”

When directly questioned about his use of the term “illegal,” Mr. Biden confirmed that he regretted it, saying “yes.”

The person mentioned by the president was Jos Antonio Ibarra, a citizen of Venezuela who was previously detained by authorities for illegally entering the US. He is accused of murdering Laken Riley, a 22-year-old student studying nursing.

Biden released a statement in commemoration of the beginning of Ramadan.

On Sunday night, President Joe Biden released a statement at the onset of Ramadan.

Tonight, as the Islamic holy month of Ramadan begins with the appearance of the new crescent moon, Jill and I send our warmest wishes and prayers to Muslims all over our nation and the globe.

During the sacred month, it is a time for introspection and rejuvenation. This year, it coincides with a time of great anguish. The ongoing conflict in Gaza has resulted in immense hardship for the Palestinian community. Over 30,000 Palestinians, mostly civilians, have lost their lives, including thousands of innocent children. Among those who mourn are American Muslims, who are deeply grieving the loss of their loved ones. The war has also left nearly two million Palestinians displaced and in urgent need of basic necessities such as food, water, medicine, and shelter. As the Muslim community observes the fast during this time, the suffering of the Palestinian people will remain at the forefront of our minds. It certainly weighs heavily on mine.

The United States will lead the charge in global efforts to increase the flow of humanitarian aid into Gaza through various means, such as land, air, and sea. In recent days, I have instructed our military to undertake an urgent mission in constructing a temporary pier on the Gaza coast in order to receive large amounts of aid. We are also conducting airdrops of aid in partnership with other countries, including Jordan. Additionally, we will continue to collaborate with Israel to improve access by land and push for the opening of more crossings, so that aid can reach more people in need.

As we increase the amount of crucial assistance to Gaza, the United States remains dedicated to tirelessly negotiating a lasting ceasefire for a minimum of six weeks. This agreement will also involve the release of any hostages. Additionally, we will persist in our efforts to create a stable, secure, and peaceful future. This includes implementing a two-state plan that will guarantee equal rights and opportunities for both Palestinians and Israelis, in terms of freedom, respect, security, and prosperity. This is the most viable route towards achieving a lasting peace.

In our own country, there has been a disturbing increase in prejudice and aggression towards Muslim Americans. This hatred towards Islam has no rightful existence in the United States, a nation that was built upon the values of religious freedom and the contributions of immigrants, including those from the Muslim community. To combat this hate targeted towards Muslim, Sikh, South Asian, and Arab American communities, my Administration is working on creating the very first National Strategy to Counter Islamophobia and Related Forms of Bias and Discrimination. It is our duty to address and eradicate any instances of discrimination or bias against these communities, whether it be in schools, workplaces, on the streets, or in their own neighborhoods. Nobody should ever have to live in fear of being singled out because of their cultural background or religious beliefs.

Dear Muslim community in the United States, I want to express that you are an important and cherished part of our American society. For those who are experiencing sorrow during this period of conflict, I want you to know that I hear you, I see you, and I hope you can find comfort in your faith, loved ones, and community. And to everyone beginning the observance of Ramadan tonight, I hope that you have a peaceful, prosperous, and holy month. Ramadan greetings.
