Last week in Florida, emergency responders rescued a mother and her infant from a submerged car after it had crashed into a water-filled ditch.
On January 5th, deputies from the Sheriff’s office in Flagler County broke the window of a vehicle to save two individuals.
According to the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office, authorities discovered a man who appeared disoriented and wounded outside of a car, while an adult woman and a young child in a car seat were still stuck inside the vehicle.
The baby’s head was just barely above the water’s surface, while the woman was experiencing heavy bleeding.
Following the rescue, the three individuals were transferred to paramedics and subsequently transported to a hospital.
The Florida highway patrol is currently conducting an investigation into the collision.
