A group of people gathered in London on Friday evening (February 16th) for a memorial service honoring Alexei Navalny, which took place in front of the Russian embassy.
Numerous individuals in Europe have joined together in demonstrations and memorials to denounce the Russian government after the federal prison service announced that the 47-year-old political figure, known for his strong opposition against Vladimir Putin, had passed away.
As individuals gathered outside the Russian embassy in Kensington, they were observed displaying banners containing words of encouragement for other incarcerated politicians.
Protests were also staged in Barcelona, Vilnius, Munich, and Berlin.
