Billie Eilish disclosed that her attire for the 2024 Golden Globes contained some secondhand items.
The 22-year-old musician arrived at the Beverly Hilton Hotel on January 7th for the 81st annual Golden Globes. Eilish, joined by her brother Finneas, was up for a nomination for her song “What Was I Made For?” under the name Barbie. On the red carpet, the Grammy recipient stayed true to her signature style, putting together an outfit composed of carefully chosen pieces from her own wardrobe that reflected her unique personality.
During an interview with Rachel Smith from Variety before the event, Eilish described her one-of-a-kind ensemble. The singer of “Lovely” donned a large, dark grey blazer paired with a blue and white striped shirt. She didn’t disclose where she acquired it, but Eilish admitted that she was drawn to the peplum collar of the button-up.
She observed a small collar and was drawn to its circular shape.
Eilish gestured to the navy ribbon adorning her neck. She excitedly shared, “I received this as a gift for my birthday, and it was wrapped around something small. I decided to tie it around my neck.”

The A-list celebrity chose a tan skirt that had the appearance of shorts for the bottom half of her outfit. This was her favorite aspect of the ensemble, which she referred to as a “little willy thing”.
“I acquired these items from a secondhand shop last year,” Eilish commented as she continued to discuss her ensemble for the red carpet. She completed her unique look with a spiky, sleek bun that showcased the vibrant red color of her hair, along with a pair of high-heeled Mary Janes and sheer crimson socks.
The genuine creator then focused on her brother, asking about his attire. In contrast to his sibling’s appearance, Finneas wore a tailored, all-black velvet tuxedo.
He stated, “I am merely donning Giorgio Armani, a brand I adore.”
