Ariana Grande channels Marilyn Monroe in vintage Dior at Golden Globes First-Time Nominee lunch

Ariana Grande exuded old Hollywood glamour by channelling Marilyn Monroe at the Golden Globes First-Time Nominee Celebration in Beverly Hills.

The singer and actress, 31, wore a champagne pink Christian Dior by Yves Saint Laurent 1959 gown with a cinched waist and pleated skirt.

This style was made popular by 1950s actress Marilyn Monroe – the epitome of Golden Age Hollywood glamour.

Perhaps a nod to her flourishing acting career, Grande channelled the iconic film star to celebrate her first-ever Golden Globe nomination for her role as Glinda in Wicked.

Grande opted for minimal accessories, including from a pair of pearl stud earrings and a single matching ring on her pointer finger, accompanied with a French manicure.

Wicked has made an estimated $372 million worldwide since arriving in theatres in late November, and has sparked excitement for the second instalment coming to cinemas in November 2025.

Grande wasn’t the only star sporting vintage, Pamela Anderson, 57, wore a vintage 1960s silk A Line dress from the LA-based boutique, The Kit Vintage.

The Baywatch star was celebrating her nomination for her role in Gia Coppola’s The Last Showgirl. Anderson paired the vintage gown with her classic no make-up glam, black sheer tights and pointed court heels.

This luxury vintage boutique has become the go-to for celebrity red carpets.

The Kit Vintage also dressed Angelina Jolie at the 2024 Governor’s Awards in November. The Maleficent star wore a no label vintage shimmering gold gown as she walked the red carpet with her son, Knox Jolie-Pitt.

Joining Anderson and Grande was Robbie Williams, who wore a blush-pink silk suit with black leather loafers.

The Take That star was celebrating his ‘Best Original Song’ nomination for Forbidden Road in the semi-biographical Better Man film about his life.

Williams, 50, was joined by his wife Ayda Field Williams who wore a beige double-breasted suit with a white Lady Dior Joy satchel.

Other stars in attendance included Zoe Saldaña and Mikey Madison. Saldaña, 46, wore a yellow ruffled Saint Laurent dress with black strappy heels and a chunky rattan belt.

The Avengers star paired the sheer V-neck gown with a soft Hollywood waves and a bright red lip. Saldaña has been nominated for best supporting actress in a motion picture.

Madison meanwhile wore a pink-pearlescent midi dress from the Irish designer, JW Anderson.

The gown featured a twisted drop waist and long fluted sleeves. The 25-year-old American actress has been nominated for her role in Anora.

Kathryn Hahn, 51, took a more casual approach in floaty pleated co-ord.

Nominated for her role in Agatha All Along, the star rolled up the sleeves of her blazer-inspired shirt and paired the ensemble with pointed metallic hells and drop gold earrings.

Adam Brody, 45, wore a relaxed black suit with an open-collar blue striped shirt, a peeping white vest and a pair of plain black Oxfords.

The actor is nominated for his comedy role in the series Nobody Wants This on Netflix, where he plays a rabbi alongside love interest, Kristen Bell.
