Jude Bellingham, a midfielder for England, was unable to participate in Real Madrid’s LaLiga game against Valencia due to a shoulder injury.
The 20-year-old, who has been in great form, has scored 13 goals in 14 games for Real since his £88.5m transfer from Borussia Dortmund in the summer. Unfortunately, he dislocated his shoulder during last Sunday’s match against Rayo Vallecano, which ended in a 0-0 draw.
This week, Bellingham was selected by Gareth Southgate to join England’s squad for the Euro 2024 qualifiers against Malta and North Macedonia.
Real Madrid released a statement on Saturday stating that Jude Bellingham underwent testing and was diagnosed with anterior instability of his left shoulder, which was caused by his recent dislocation.
“Bellingham will not be playing in today’s game against Valencia.”
Carlo Ancelotti, the manager, chose not to utilize Bellingham during Wednesday’s 3-0 triumph in the Champions League against Braga from Portugal. Bellingham was listed as a substitute for the match but did not play as his team easily secured the win.
