According to aviation professionals, it is estimated that Travis Kelce has used more than $1 million on personal flights, both within the United States and abroad, during his relationship with Taylor Swift.
According to consulting experts in the aviation field, Kelce has reportedly spent approximately $1,210,000 on private jet trips to visit Swift since they revealed their relationship in September, as estimated by The New York Post.
According to reports, the Kansas City Chiefs’ football tight end flew out on Friday to attend the Argentine leg of Swift’s Eras Tour in November. He then returned in time for Monday’s football practice.
According to aviation specialist Richard Levy, it would cost roughly $300,000 to charter a 10-seat private jet for a round trip from the US to an international location. This estimate includes various variable expenses.
Only a mere ten days after the Chief’s victorious Superbowl win in February, Kelce arranged for a plane to take him from Los Angeles, through Hawaii, to Sydney in order to attend Swift’s concert at Accor Stadium on February 21st in Australia.
According to Michael Giordano, an aviation expert at Cirrus Aviation Services, the cost of the flight from the US to Argentina is estimated to be around $300,000. Additionally, the leg from Los Angeles to Sydney for a 10-seat jet is typically priced at $340,000.
Giordano approximated that a journey from Cleveland, Ohio to Singapore in March would incur expenses of approximately $570,000.
A group of American football players and their friends took a 19-hour flight on March 7, most likely stopping in Dubai for refueling.
The fact that Swift uses a private jet for her travel has caused a lot of attention, especially as she flies between continents to meet her tour schedule and support her new boyfriend at NFL games.
Taylor’s representative told The Independent that before starting her tour, she bought twice the amount of carbon credits required to compensate for her travel, including the tour.
It is unclear if Swift’s use of carbon credit schemes, which are unregulated ways for individuals and businesses to compensate for their greenhouse gas emissions, includes her frequent travel on private jets outside of her tour. These schemes are designed to offset the release of emissions.
