It is widely known that companies represented by celebrities and influencers have faced challenges meeting customer expectations. This appears to also be the case for Inamorata, the swimwear brand owned by Emily Ratajkowski, as customers have expressed frustration over delayed delivery of their orders online.
Following reports from customers who did not receive their purchases from several months ago, there was a significant influx of demands for answers on social media.
Despite the lack of activity on Inamorata’s official Instagram account since November 2023, customers still expressed frustration with delayed orders in the comments section of their latest post. One customer stated, “I ordered a bikini in NOVEMBER and it still hasn’t arrived. I’ve sent multiple emails but have only received automated responses about more delays. This is so disappointing.”
According to another individual, they made their purchase on Black Friday and it has yet to be shipped. They are extremely disappointed and are now seeking a refund.
“Can you provide an update on your brand? Customers are experiencing long wait times. There is doubt whether my order will be delivered,” one user expressed, while another stated, “Your team assured me my items would ship by March 15th, but it’s been five months and nothing has arrived. Please address this.”
As per Reddit posts, Inamorata sent two emails to customers regarding delays in shipping. The initial email stated that all purchases from the Black Friday sale would be shipped in February, while the second email revised the date to 15 March.
Inamorata took action by addressing customer concerns on March 19 through their Instagram post comments. The company notified customers that an email update had been sent out regarding delayed orders and provided options for a refund. Some individuals were directed to the customer support email and asked to include their name and order number for a refund.
“We apologize for the delay in a small percentage of orders due to the high volume of orders during the Black Friday sale,” Inamorata stated in an Instagram story post on Tuesday. “For those who do not wish to wait, we are offering a full refund. Our sincerest apologies to our esteemed customers.”
At the age of 32, Ratajkowski started the swimwear company in 2017, featuring six different pieces of bikini tops and bottoms priced between $75 and $160. As time passed, the brand expanded their range to include printed string bikini tops, one-pieces, and comfortable beachwear dresses and cardigans.
In May of 2023, the brand Inamorata partnered with the well-known eco-friendly women’s clothing label Mirror Palais to launch a line of swimsuits and bikinis inspired by Brazil.
