The United Kingdom is expected to experience a day of varied and turbulent weather, with the Met Office predicting more rain showers and occasional periods of sunshine.
Some areas in the United Kingdom experienced ongoing precipitation this week, although it was less intense compared to the previous week’s rainfall. This was attributed to Storm Ciarán, which caused extensive flooding and disruptions in travel.
According to WXCharts, which obtains information from the Met Desk, there is a possibility of snow in Scotland on both Thursday and Friday.
The Met Office stated that there will be ongoing showers in western regions on Thursday, possibly with intense thunderstorms and hail.
In the meantime, those in the eastern region can experience drier conditions with periods of sunshine.
The temperatures are predicted to decrease, resulting in cooler days and freezing nights in the northern regions.
The unstable weather will persist for three days until Friday, but precipitation is predicted to decrease, with more breaks in between and scattered frost forming inland.
Following relatively mild conditions on Saturday, Sunday is forecasted to bring additional bouts of rain and strong winds moving towards the east.
The unsettled weather pattern is expected to persist for the entire month, with the majority of rainfall predicted in western and northern regions according to the long-range forecast from the Met Office.
According to the forecaster, areas in the western region of the UK, particularly coastal and hilly areas, are expected to experience increased levels of rainfall.
The weather map displays precipitation in the form of rain clouds over a majority of the United Kingdom, with a chance of some snow.
British citizens should prepare for extended periods of rain, as most of the nation will experience scattered periods of brief dry weather.
The temperature will stay around average, but on the warmer end.
The forecaster predicts that there may be scattered frost and fog overnight, but the likelihood of widespread fog and frost is lower than usual.
