More than 50 Russian citizens have been arrested during protests taking place throughout Russia today as opponents of Vladimir Putin gather to express their opposition to his government.
Today, a total of 51 individuals have been arrested in 14 different cities in Russia. According to the OVD-Info organization, at least 23 individuals were detained in Kazan and ten in Moscow.

47 Russians have been detained during a protest vote.
According to the OVD-Info protest-monitoring group, over 47 individuals have been arrested in relation to today’s presidential election taking place in Russia.
The group reported that the detentions occurred in 13 different cities. Russian citizens went to the polls to participate in a Noon demonstration against Vladimir Putin.
