The words Princess Diana spoke to her father when she was sent away to boarding school have been disclosed, revealing her heartbreak.
During an interview with Laura Kuenssberg on Sunday (17 March), Charles Spencer, Diana’s brother, shared his sister’s feelings about attending boarding school.
Princess Diana, before her passing, expressed to her father, Edward John Spencer: “If you truly cared for me, you wouldn’t abandon me here.”
Ms. Kuenssberg inquired of Earl Spencer, “Do you believe she was also emotionally impacted by being sent away?”
He responded: “I was extremely proud of her for speaking up, it had such a powerful impact.”
From my perspective, I believe that children who are younger than 13 years old should not be separated from their families. They may not have the ability to comprehend the situation.
