Two underage individuals have been accused of committing a burglary at an educational institution focusing on the environment, resulting in the death of multiple animals.
Today, two boys aged 11 and 12 will go to Uxbridge Magistrates’ Court to face charges of burglary and animal cruelty.
On February 25, a break-in was reported at Capel Manor College in Gunnersbury Park, located in west London. Staff members reported that animals were killed and enclosures were damaged during the incident.
Shiraz, a barn owl, had fled but was eventually found at a warehouse near Heathrow Airport. It is now under the care of the Enfield campus at the college.
