The individual who owns a stolen caravan expressed their surprise when their stolen mobile home was located in a vehicle with an 11-year-old driving, a 21-year-old and three other boys in a van nearby.
According to reports, thieves removed the advanced security devices before stealing the caravan from a vacation resort close to Thirsk, North Yorkshire. The caravan was intercepted while being hauled by a black BMW on the M1.
The news of the occurrence spread quickly after authorities reported finding a child operating the vehicle.
Janine Forth, the owner, responded to the situation on Facebook, sharing that the caravan in question was hers and that she had arrived at the site just as it was being hitched and driven away.
The individual stated, “Without the swift actions and remarkable efforts of the police, the consequences could have been disastrous. The security measures were current and up-to-date, but as soon as they gained entry, they immediately destroyed the front of the vehicle to remove the tracker.”

A minor, aged 11, was taken into custody after authorities intercepted a BMW pulling a caravan on Thursday afternoon.
The car was stopped on the M1 after exiting the A1, at Hook Moor Interchange close to Garforth, roughly 36 miles away from the vacation resort.
The male juvenile was detained under the suspicion of various crimes such as theft, burglary, possession of tools used for theft, and driving violations such as dangerous driving. He was interrogated and subsequently released on conditional bail by the police.
The North Yorkshire Police reported that their efficient roads policing officers, along with support from their control room and intelligence team, were able to promptly locate a caravan and inform its rightful owners.
Police urged individuals who own caravans to increase their vigilance following a recent spike in robberies within the vicinity.
