Animal rights activists disrupted Victoria Beckham's fashion show during Paris Fashion Week.

On Friday, 1 March, animal rights group People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) disrupted Victoria Beckham’s show at Paris Fashion Week.

At the runway show for her autumn/winter 2024 collection, the designer, who gained recognition as a member of the Spice Girls, encountered protesters holding signs that read “viva vegan leather”. The disruptors joined the models on the catwalk, causing chaos during the presentation.

According to Peta, even though Beckham’s brand prohibits the use of fur and exotic skins, it continues to use a significant amount of leather sourced from animals in a cruel manner, specifically from young cows.

The Independent has reached out to Beckham’s representatives for a response.
