Ange Postecoglou announced that Richarlison will be unable to play for the next four weeks due to a knee injury.
The injury was suffered by the Tottenham striker during their 2-1 loss to Wolves on February 17th.
This current season, the Brazilian player has successfully scored a total of 10 goals in 22 games for Spurs, with nine of those goals being scored in his most recent 10 matches.
Tottenham, along with many other Premier League teams, have faced challenges with injuries this season. Postecoglou will be without Pedro Porro and Ryan Sessegnon.
Unfortunately, Porro is currently dealing with a muscular problem. As a result, he was required to undergo surgery on his right hamstring at the beginning of the week.
The manager, Ange Postecoglou, announced in a press conference that Destiny (Udogie) has completed their training, but Pedro is likely still a week from being ready.
Unfortunately, Richarlison will be sidelined for a period of three to four weeks due to a knee injury he sustained in the previous game. Additionally, Sess is also unavailable, leaving our team with limited player options.
“Richy is feeling let down as he has played a significant role, but unfortunately, this has been a trend throughout our season.”
“Sess has faced a difficult situation. He has put in a lot of effort to make a comeback and it becomes even more difficult when it happens in a series of events.”
Udogie is seen as a strong possibility to make it onto the roster for Tottenham.
On Saturday, Tottenham Hotspur will have a home match against Crystal Palace. The team is currently in fifth place in the Premier League and is behind fourth-placed Aston Villa by five points.
Tottenham’s performances have been inconsistent lately. They lost to Wolves in their most recent game and also only managed a draw at Everton earlier this month.
Their injury concerns may improve in the near future as they were eliminated from the FA Cup by Manchester City in the fourth round, potentially alleviating stress on the team with a lighter schedule.
