Observe the ongoing proceedings for the case involving Alec Baldwin’s Rustarmourer, Hannah Gutierrez-Reed, which took place on Tuesday, February 27th.
Ms. Gutierrez-Reed has been charged with involuntary manslaughter for the fatal shooting of Halyna Hutchins.
Additionally, she is facing charges for tampering with evidence.
Mr. Baldwin, who is also charged with involuntary manslaughter in a separate case, has identified Ms. Gutierrez-Reed as the individual accountable for the event.
Ms Gutierrez-Reed, who has pleaded not guilty to all three charges, has accused Baldwin of running a chaotic set with little concern for safety training. She maintains she is not directly to blame for Ms Hutchins’ death.
Ross Addiego, a dolly grip for Rust, stated that Ms. Guttierez-Reed was not as professional as previous armourers he has collaborated with.
During the trial, he stated that he did not remember receiving a safety alert while working on set. He also mentioned that he was only invited to one safety meeting during filming.
According to Mr. Addiego, he witnessed Ms. Guttierez-Reed take out loose ammunition from a bag and observed firearms and gunbelts scattered around the set.
According to the testimony, Mr. Baldwin was known for rushing people and no one was able to challenge him.
