A young fan of Chelsea received a surprise of tickets for the upcoming Carabao Cup final against Liverpool this weekend.
12-year-old Oscar Brown-Smart, who had a kidney transplant due to stage 5 chronic kidney disease, thought he was going for his usual hospital check-up, but instead ended up at the sports club’s training facility.
When he arrived, Mauricio Pochettino welcomed him and invited him to observe the training session. Cole Palmer also joined in for some individual passing practice.
Oscar also reunited with the remaining members of the team who had autographed his jersey.
Conor Gallagher, the midfielder, gave the young person a pair of tickets to attend the cup final at Wembley.
