The RMT union has announced that the planned strikes next week by London Overground workers have been canceled due to an improved pay offer.
Rail, Maritime and Transport union employees employed by Arriva Rail London for the London Overground network were scheduled to participate in a strike on both Monday and Tuesday.
Next week, they will vote on the new offer.
Mick Lynch, general secretary of the RMT, stated that the members of London Overground who work for Arriva Rail London have made advancements due to their determination to go on strike.
The disagreement is ongoing, but we have made enough advancement to temporarily pause our actions next week. This will allow our members to thoroughly evaluate the new offer through a referendum.
