Can you describe Infoland to me? What sets you apart from others?

Marieke Kessels: At Infoland, we develop software which helps professionals and organisations excel by guaranteeing quality and safety, and we have been doing this since 1998.

I believe there are several factors that distinguish us. Firstly, we always follow through on our commitments: our clients frequently express gratitude for our honesty and dependability. Secondly, we take pleasure in our work. Our atmosphere is casual and our hierarchy is compact, allowing us to excel. We refuse to settle for the status quo and instead strive for what could be.

JSG: There are numerous companies that offer business software. How is Infoland’s approach unique?

We offer software that focuses on quality and risk management to assist organizations in their ongoing improvement efforts. Our main product is the Zenya SaaS solution.

Zenya is made up of five modules. These include a document management tool, an incident and workflow management tool, an audit management tool, a strategic and operational risk management tool, and a tool that allows organizations to engage their employees in quality and risk management. By using all five modules, organizations can transform uncertainty into opportunities they can trust.

The Zenya suite is versatile and can be utilized by all levels of an organization, from top management to front-line and back office employees. It is accessible on both desktop and mobile devices, and can be used online or offline. With Zenya, organizations have more than just risk and quality management tools; they also have the ability to promote awareness, encourage proactive behavior, and foster a trustworthy work environment. This allows quality and risk management to truly become an essential aspect of any business.

Understanding your customers is crucial for your success. How do you approach this task?

We do not simply give our customers a software license and abandon them. We are highly engaged with our customers, sharing our knowledge and offering assistance. As a part of this, we have created an online community where our customers can communicate about issues and exchange solutions.

The members of this community are always generating fresh concepts to enhance the value and user-friendliness of our software. We consistently enhance and streamline our solutions with the active participation of our clients.

In addition to optimization, it is essential for the success of your organization to prioritize innovation. Can you share your methods for fostering innovation?

Reworded: Creativity and forward-thinking are integral components of our company, and they manifest in various forms. Our organization is constantly generating a vast array of fresh ideas, both from our team members and our clients. For instance, we host innovation events for our employees and, particularly, our customers. These events are well-received and serve as platforms for exchanging knowledge, presenting new innovations, receiving instant feedback, and discussing the utilization of Zenya.

Revolutionary ideas should bring tangible advantages to those who use them. This is a principle we prioritize because our company is family-owned and therefore unbiased. Our focus when introducing new ideas is on the success of our customers, not our own.

At the moment, we are exploring the integration of AI into our Zenya modules. This means that AI could assist individuals in quickly locating pertinent information within lengthy documents, ultimately saving them valuable time. However, it is crucial for individuals to have confidence in the accuracy of the results produced by AI. When someone reads an excerpt from a document, they should be assured that the AI has utilized the most recent approved version of the document. While innovation is important, it should not come at the cost of reliability. Our services must be trustworthy to our users.

We engage our customers in our innovation process by conducting webinars to showcase new products and gather their suggestions. They are also involved in product testing. Eventually, we will release a minimum viable product for customers to test if they wish to.

Some of them may not, as some of our clients work in high-risk fields like healthcare and utilities. For these clients, reliability and quality are prioritized over innovation. It is important for us to maintain a balance and our goal is to offer both innovation and dependable services.

The confidence our clients have in our services drives our innovation. Our close collaboration and their reliance on us to provide effective solutions that enhance their performance has resulted in long-standing partnerships. We have grown alongside our loyal customers as they trust us to facilitate their progress. This synergy is truly valuable.

It appears that trust holds significant value to you.

Our main focus is on individuals, striving to enhance workplace safety, well-being, and satisfaction for a larger population.
