Paulo Dybala netted two goals as Roma dominated Cagliari 4-0, securing their third consecutive win in the Serie A.
After a convincing victory, Roma advanced to fifth place. Lorenz Pellegrini scored the first goal just two minutes into the game with a corner kick.
Dybala increased the lead in the 23rd minute and essentially secured the victory six minutes into the second half, by scoring a penalty kick after Andrea Petagna committed a handball in the penalty area.
Former Roma manager Claudio Ranieri continued to endure hardship as Dean Huijsen scored a fourth goal just before the hour mark.
Sevilla secured a 2-1 victory over Rayo Vallecano in Spain, with Youssef En-Nesyri scoring both goals in the first half. This win is only their fourth in the league this season, and it puts them three points ahead of the relegation zone.
En-Nesyri scored in the 19th minute, but Isi Palazon equalized 10 minutes later. However, just before halftime, the Morroccan player found the back of the net once again.
