A woman and her two children were hospitalized following an assault involving a corrosive substance.

Last night, a man in south London threw a suspected corrosive substance at a woman and her two young children, resulting in their hospitalization.

Law enforcement is urgently searching for a suspect who was observed running away from the area.

Nine people were injured in the incident, including a woman, her two children, and three officers. Some passersby who attempted to assist the woman and her children were also hurt.

Yesterday at approximately 7:25pm, authorities were summoned to Lessar Avenue near Clapham Common in response to reports of an assault.

Authorities are currently investigating the cause of this tragic event. According to a witness interviewed by The Sun, the mother and her children were in the company of a man who then exited the vehicle and engaged in a physical altercation on the street.

According to a witness, as reported by Sky News, the perpetrator forcefully threw a child onto the ground after removing them from a car. Following this, a woman who had been arguing with the suspect started crying out for help, stating, “My eyes. My eyes. Someone call the police.”

Alexander Castle, the Detective Superintendent, stated that the police are utilizing all available resources in order to apprehend a suspect in the incident. They are also urging anyone with information to contact 999.
