President Joe Biden has promised to take action in response to the strike that killed three American soldiers and injured 25 others in Jordan. The strike was carried out by an unmanned drone.
On Sunday, January 28th, at a campaign rally in South Carolina, the president from the Democratic party delivered a speech and requested those in attendance to participate in a moment of quiet reflection.
The attack on a military base in Jordan, close to the border with Syria, was reportedly executed by a militia supported by Iran, according to President Biden.
“Before we conclude, I’d like to acknowledge that we had a challenging day. Yesterday, we tragically lost three courageous soldiers in an attack on one of our bases. I would like to request a moment of silence in their honor. We will take appropriate action in response.”
