The driver of the black Cadillac, who drove Jonathan Majors and Grace Jabbari on March 25, testified on Monday that he believed the dancer had struck the actor during the reported altercation.

According to Courthouse News, the driver, speaking through an interpreter in Urdu, stated that the dancer had requested to see the actor’s phone and became agitated. The driver explained that the boy wanted to remove the girl from the situation, so he opened the door.

“He was attempting to remove her from his presence,” he went on. “He repeatedly expressed, ‘Please leave me be. I must depart’.”

The driver stated: “He was not taking action, she was the one doing it.”

He proceeded to recount the events of that night to the jury.

“When I first witnessed the event, I suspected that the girl had struck the boy due to her aggressive physical behavior and the accompanying sounds.”

The driver left the stand following a short cross-examination.

The court was informed about text messages regarding an event in September 2022 where the actor allegedly harmed Grace Jabbari’s head and advised her against seeking medical attention.

The experiment is set to run for a duration of fourteen days.

Summary: What occurred during the previous week?

Attorneys representing Majors presented enlarged video footage of the pushing incident on Thursday, claiming that it contradicts Jabbari’s statement that her head hit the doorframe when she was pushed into the car.

Jabbari responded that there were numerous instances of physical altercations and injuries. She stated that Majors has a tendency towards aggression, which ultimately led to her being attacked in the backseat of a moving vehicle. This event was not recorded on video.

The lawyers representing Jabbari presented video evidence from a club in Manhattan that attempted to challenge her assertion that she experienced intense pain and injuries during the alleged attack.

The blurry video depicted Jabbari in the aftermath of the event, joyfully dancing and imbibing with a trio of unfamiliar individuals who she claimed came to her aid when she was upset and without her phone on the sidewalks of Manhattan.

Jabbari expressed a desire to not be by herself and joined the group at a club named Loosie’s. She purchased a bottle of champagne and a round of shots for her newfound companions.

While showing a collection of video footage captured inside the club, Majors’ lawyer repeatedly questioned the accuser about her use of her injured hand for tasks such as holding a champagne glass, searching through her bag, and tucking hair behind her ear.

Jabbari responded, “I wasn’t paying attention to the pain. I was simply trying to enjoy myself.” He continued, “There were wonderful individuals present and I felt secure in their company.”

Jabbari’s statement exposes her emotions throughout her time with Majors.

Last week, Ms Jabbari expressed that it seemed as though she was treading carefully, as if on fragile eggshells, and had to meet high standards of perfection.

Ms Jabbari reported that the actor had made multiple threats of suicide. Majors supposedly begged her not to disclose his temper to anyone. She expressed feeling afraid of him physically.

During the cross-examination on Friday, text messages were brought up that seemed to indicate Majors had acknowledged causing injury to Jabbari’s head in a previous incident in September 2022. The messages revealed that Mr. Majors had threatened to take his own life if she reported her injuries to the hospital.

Jabbari reported that the individual claimed to be a monster and expressed a desire to end their own life. They also took steps towards carrying out this intention.

Majors’ texts reveal harrowing incident with Jabbari last year

On Friday, Jabbari completed her final day of testimony on the witness stand.

In September 2022, prosecutors presented text messages to her that pertained to an incident unrelated to the current case when she and her partner lived together in London. According to reports, the messages indicated that Majors advised his girlfriend not to report her head injuries to a hospital.

Unfortunately, additional information about the event was not provided, as it was not allowed to be presented to the jury. However, according to People, a document referenced the event by stating, “medical records from London related to an incident that took place in September 2022.”

The prosecutor inquired of Ms Jabbari, “Did the defendant attempt to discourage you from seeking medical assistance?” To which she answered, “Yes.”

Majors texted, as reported by the outlet, expressing concern that you may not fully understand the potential consequences of going to the hospital. They may ask you questions and given your lack of protection for us, it could result in an investigation even if you choose to lie and they become suspicious.
